*Cough Cough*

As we get into Fall and Winter colds and sicknesses start going around more, and you can hear more coughing and sniffing.

When I have a cold, a nice cup of tea often helps me feel better!!
My favorite is just plain black tea with honey and lemon!!! :-) (And milk ;-)). A lady at the bank today told me I should try green tea with honey, which I will have to do (as I have a cold at the moment!)! :-)
However, any kind of tea can help! So, go make yourself a lovely cup of hot tea, and make sure to rest as much as you can!


  1. After family camp, a majority of our family came down with illnesses. A sore throat, a cough, a fever - symptoms varied - but we were sick. Thanks for the reminder of tea. When it's warm outside we sometimes forget the need for a cup of warm healing tea.

    BTW Your tea party looks like fun.

  2. Hello Amy and Olivia! I found your blog because we both have ``Books by Isabella Alden``as some of our favorite books! (I'd love to know which are your favorites! At the moment I am re-reading `Wise and Otherwise`which is so good!)
    Your blog looks lovely. I too am a great fan oftea and I (as well as my whole family) drink it at least once a day. It's so refreshing, soothing and healthy! Yes- when I have a cold any tea helps, but especially Fenugreek seed, Dandelion root, or Echinacea! (My favorite is the middle one, which is the most like black tea.)Try them.
